I seen a few videos on Youtube regarding Affiliate Marketing being dead in 2026.
Some people are saying Affiliate Marketing is Dead.
Some say it’s no longer of interest in the make money online crowd.
I say it’s not dead but things have shifted a little.
Here’s What’s Happening…
1- People Are Getting More Picky!
In the past, make money online business seekers would see a sales video that looked enticing and simply pull out their credit card and buy quickly.
However, after the majority got in, they quickly figured out that success online wasn’t instant.
They had to earn their success (monetary results) through an income earning activity:
A- Free Traffic
B- Paid Traffic
2- People (Affiliate Marketing Prospects) Lack Belief in Themselves:
All of us who have been born into life on this planet Earth have ‘self limiting beliefs’ and if we don’t remove them, they will block us for ever.
The best way to remove self limiting beliefs is through personal development.
Many personal development videos on removing these false beliefs in ourselves can be found on Youtube for free.
3- Instant Gratification:
Most people who want to make money online have an ‘entitled’ mentality.
Most think they have a job that takes 40 – 60 hours per week out of them and that the internet should just spit money out of their smart phone for them.
Not going to happen!
There is no industry that is going to reward you for you not investing in yourself and into it.
4- Crypto MLM Passive Systems Giving False Income Claims:
There are a ton of Crypto Investment MLM’s out there promising people crazy returns for doing nothing.
Sure they are investing but investing into a scam.
Crypto Investment scams are temporarily allowing the people (majority) to take themselves off the hook of responsibility.
It allows the majority to go to work and believe that somehow they won’t have to pay the price for success and it can just be handed to them over time.
But sadly these people end up finding out that success is never just handed to anyone.
Eventually (after trying 10 – 20 of these scams) they find out the hard way!
Just stay ‘in front’ of them while they are going through this painful process and you will find that most will come back to Legit Affiliate Marketing eventually.
5- Throwing Traffic At Affiliate Marketing No Longer Works!
Yes if you just keep blindly sending traffic to an offer, it will convert.
But sadly paid traffic is not cheap.
And most people just don’t stick to a traffic strategy long enough for it to succeed.
Solution?
Yes there is a Silver Lining in every dark cloud.
This dark cloud in affiliate marketing is things have changed a little.
But the people who adapt to changes, are the people who ‘capitalize’ on these changes and end up thriving.
People are more picky?
-Yes!
Value and Consistency Wins:
The fact that most people can’t simply throw traffic at their affiliate links and make consistent income online anymore drastically decreases your COMPETITON!
In order for you to Succeed in the Make Money Online space for 2026 going forward is:
A- Find Cheaper Traffic Solutions
B- Use FREE Traffic with Reels and Shorts.
How?
By giving an audience value.
How?
Use the Invest, Learn & Teach strategy (that I will go over here briefly on video) and expand more on later.
Conclusion:
At the end of the day, the people who understand that success online with affiliate marketing is STILL a process and those who don’t want to do anything for their money won’t make it.
The people understand that making consistent money online comes down to an ‘income producing activity’.
People who make a commitment to themselves and don’t quit will reap the long term rewards while selling to the majority who still want instant success.
In the end, we will always get what we settle for.
